Meet our lead pastor, Dr. Reverend Trevor Smith and his beautiful family

Senior Pastor

Rev. Dr. Trevor Smith

Rev. Dr. Trevor Smith has a passion to help churches fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples of Jesus Christ. He is passionate about preaching, teaching, and leading worship using various multi-media. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and his hobbies include cheering on the Duke Blue Devils and the Oklahoma City Thunder and smoking the best pulled pork, brisket, and turkey you have ever tasted.

Youth & Care Ministry Director

Mike Smith

As our Youth and Care Ministry Director, Mike is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for young people to explore their faith, develop strong relationships with one another, and discover their unique gifts and talents. He believes in the power of mentorship and discipleship to shape the next generation of leaders and followers of Christ.

Children's Ministry Director

Hannah Birney

Hi! I am the director of children’s ministry at Bixby First Methodist! Exciting things are happening at our church, and especially in our children’s department! Our children’s ministry provides children and parents resources to nurture young hearts and minds while growing in relationship with Christ. We focus on God’s word, helping children apply it to their daily lives. We have exceptional teachers who guide our children as they learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and learn to show the love of Christ to others.

Office Administrator

Peggy Berlin

Peggy Berlin has been a member of for the past seven years and sings in the Chancel Choir. She spent the first fourteen years of her working career as a secondary choral music director before venturing into healthcare. After retiring in October 2019 from the Saint Francis Health System, Peggy has joined the church staff as our office administrator.

Director of Communications

Melissa Bryan

Melissa brings a dynamic blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a heart for ministry to our church community. With a background in communications and a passion for connecting people with the life-changing message of the gospel, she is dedicated to spreading the word about the incredible work happening within our church family. As our Director of Communications, Melissa oversees all aspects of our church's communication efforts, from social media and website management to print materials and community outreach.

Lead Custodian

Rick Crofford

Rick Crofford was born in Tulsa and went to high school in Broken Arrow. With a background in casino surveillance and music, Rick brings a unique approach to everything that he sets to do. He and his wife, RayAnn, have a combined six children and eight grandchildren, who they spend a lot of time with. They live in Broken Arrow with the two youngest of their children and a lot of pets. Rick especially enjoys live concerts and traveling.

Treasurer

Jeff Howard

Jeff plays a pivotal role in stewarding the financial resources that support our vibrant community and its ministries. With a steadfast commitment to transparency and integrity, Jeff diligently manages the church's finances, ensuring that every dollar is allocated wisely to further our mission and serve our congregation. His expertise and dedication contribute significantly to the financial health and sustainability of our church, enabling us to continue spreading love, compassion, and hope to all who walk through our doors.
