Gifts - we support the church through our financial giving, recognizing that we are God's stewards of all that we hold in our possession.
Members of First UMC in Bixby commit themselves to faithfully participate in the ministries of the church through their prayers, their presence, their gifts, their service and their witness. Below is a listing of our giving ministry opportunities. Tithes and Offerings - We support the ongoing ministries in the church through our regular tithes and offerings. Every Sunday morning in our worship services offering plates are passed to collect these gifts.
Special Sundays - Occasionally on Sundays we take up a special offering to help ministries beyond our doors. Announcements are made in worship for each of these opportunities.
"Free Will" Offering - Approaching the end of life? Many of our members take great joy in setting aside a portion of their estate to help out the ministries of the church. Call the church office to find out more about how you can support the church in this way.
