Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading
Our 2010 Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading are underway.  Our sports ministry is for boys and girls, PreK through 7th grade. We combine teaching the fundamental and advanced skills of football and cheer with lessons in the game of life through Bible teaching and devotions at every practice and game. The emphasis is placed on having fun, self-esteem and good sportsmanship.

We promote character and self-esteem in every child by providing: 

• Equal playing time for every player
• A one-hour practice and game each week of the season
• An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement
• Each player signs up as an individual, not as a group or team

How Do I Sign Up?
There are three easy ways to sign up your chlid for our exciting league:

On Evaluation Day
Every child who participates in flag football and cheerleading must attend one Evaluation Day.  During evaluations, children will be sized up for their uniform.  Cheerleaders will participate in an orientation and discuss season expectations.  Football players will participate in skill set drills to help with team development.  It's great fun!

Evaluation Days will take place on:

• Saturday, April 10th, between 9:00a.m. and 12:00p.m. (noon)
• Saturday, May 8th, between 9:00a.m. and 12:00p.m. (noon)
• Saturday, June 19th, between 9:00a.m. and 12:00p.m. (noon)
 
Cleats are recommended for football players

Drop off at the Church Office
The registration form, along with your child's registration fee, may be dropped off at the church office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
